South of Houston, a serial killer was ‘pretty active’ over multiple years. One after another, over 30 bodies were discovered in some area bordering the Calder Oil Field near League City and some other areas around. There might have been multiple killers, however at least one who dumped multiple bodies there (list incomplete):

These are the names of some victims and where they were last seen before they disappeared and got killed. Now as you can see, plenty of them have disappeared from Galveston or nearby coast (Texas City; La Marque etc.). Also, towards the Killing Fields itself (Dickinson, Nassau Bay, Alvin, Santa Fe) or nearby (Dobie High School etc.).

Thus, it appears as if the serial killer did not operate from Houston, as might be assumed, but from Galveston Island itself. This lovely Island, however, probably has not many serial killers.

Having a closer look, many of the victims had actually been strolling in the seafront area (Ice cream shop, Seawall Boulevard, Gaido’s Seafood etc.). Thus, this might have been the ‘epicenter’ area of the serial killers’ activity; later disposing his victims at the Killing Field. Of course, a resident of Galveston would also have frequented Houston on a regular basis, thus passing Dickinson, Pearland etc., too.

So far, the real identity of the serial killer – for most of the cases – has been or still is unknown.

If there wasn’t Robert Durst.

Robert Dursts’ wife was last known to have left Durst’s house at South Salem. No credible sources for other information than that. Shortly before here disappearance, she unexpectedly showed up at a dinner party in Newtown, Connecticut. All of this about 1,800 miles away from the Texas Killing Field. Kathy Durst’s personal belongings, pretty quickly, where later found in the trash. As if someone with access to the cottage had known that she would never use her personal items ever again.

Now you ask why this is worth to be mentioned at all? I will explain: The small town New London, Conneticut, is only 90 miles away from South Salem [corrected]. Still confused? I will give you a name: Michelle Garvey.

Michelle Garvey was found 1,800 miles away from her New London home – in the Texas Killing Fields. Not precisely the killing field near Calder but the Harris County doe ‘field’.

This places both together: The last known whereabouts of Kathy Durst happened to be only 90 miles [corrected] from the last whereabouts of Michelle Garvey. Thus, the body of Michelle Garvey was found in the vicinity of Robert Dursts’ house at 2213 Avenue K, Galveston. Opposite to Kathy, however, Garvey was found dead.

Which is why I have made a small map of the previously listed Killing Field victims. In fact, if someone would have killed them on one day only, he had to drive less than 100 miles. Most of the victims, however, disappeared from / have been last seen in the Galveston Seawall Boulevard area.

And from 2213 Avenue K, it is a walk of less than 15 minutes to get there.

Which is the place where Robert Durst ‘allowed’ a shot to get directly into the face of Morris Black, blowing his brain to the ceiling. Later, because of the mess, Durst started to dismember him and put his body parts into the Galveston Bay.

To clarify: Robert Durst lives in the area where dozens of persons have disappeared, were found dead later. Most of the victims last whereabouts were known to be nearby his house, at Seawall Boulevard, where he dismembered his neighbor Morris Black. This is one thing. But the other thing, however, is that one of the Killing Fields’ victims was a 14 year old ‘runaway’ girl from New London, Conneticut. And that Killing Field victim came from 13 miles away where Kathy Durst was last seen alive.

1,800 miles inbetween.

Now I’d like to know how that can happen if Durst is unrelated to the Killing Fields. I guess not many people disappear from Salem/New London area. And I guess there are plenty fields in a 1,800 mile radius where those could be found. But she was found in the Killing Fields where this Galveston serial killer was active, nowhere else.

– Just learned that he put the bags with Morris Blacks’ remains into the bay at Channelview Drive, Galveston. This is only 11 miles away from where Jessica Cain was found.
