I know we have a few people here from the UK. I received a Google alert about a new exhibition at a crime museum at the Littlejean Jail. Looks fascinating!

So has anyone from across the pond ever visited this museum? If so, please a report! Doubtful that there is any Zodiac info but who knows?!?!

Interesting – I’d love to see the stuff he reckons is too shocking to put on display. I bet he’s got some good stories as to how he came about some of that stuff (Rose West’s corset? wtf?)
Many of you in the US will laugh if you see a map of the UK, but it’s too far away from London for me to go and visit. Another interesting crime museum in England is the Metropolitan Police’s own Black Museum which houses some Jack the Ripper items but is unfortunately no longer open to the public I believe. This place looks like a good alternative.

I was surprised that the museum has memorabilia from American killers. James, I did read at their website they were three hours outside of London. A little far for a day trip if you plan on spending a few hours at the museum and it’s not exactly the kind of place that would be a family destination! You might have a problem talking your spouse or significant other into going for that matter. I know my husband wouldn’t be thrilled.

But still, if I were to go to the UK I’d try very much to see it.

Wow…that is creepy, weird. But, interesting!

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

Hmmm, the Forest of Dean eh? Cinderford – where everyone’s related, and lots of people have extra fingers.
That’s about an hour away from me (since the River Severn forces a long detour. And also keeps us safe from them where I live, come to think of it.)
I’ll pop over there one of these days and write you a report. ;)

Glad I’m not the only one with that problem!
