Thanks for that link Zam! It had a downloadable list of the cold cases.
I don’t know why some of these agencies can’t get creative. I bet there are a lot of retired law enforcement people who would be willing to work on some of these cold cases for free. Or how about students? I get they are technically open investigations, but after say, 20+ years, give ANYONE a chance. Doing something is better than doing nothing!

Welcome! I bet some of us could solve these cases, if we could have access to their findings & research so far. We all seem to dig up things that the LE didn’t in the Z case.
Bam to the Bad Guys!

That one in Belmont 11/1.1975….Anthony Bruno…shot in car with girlfriend with a shotgun. Kinda Z like being that it was a couple in the car….will have to look into this one a bit.
Actually, 9/8/1968 arson fire that killed 5 kids is a bit intriguing as a Z crime as well…if not solely for the facts that it was by fire and was very close to Mt. Diablo. I can find hardly any news of it in the papers. The father was a contractor named Richard P. Walker 5 of his six kids were killed by an arsonist fire while he and his wife were at a charity event.
Oddly enough, "0" on the map at the top of the "0,3,6,9" appears to be exactly where the house is that was burned down that killed the 5 kids…..1042 Panadero Ct, Clayton, CA. Probably just zyncrho though. Oh, and the fact that the investigators said it was an explosive device that set off the fire, though there was an accelerant poured inside the house before the device was thrown through a window to set it off.
After a thorough investigation, arson investigators determined the fire was deliberately set. They found flammable liquid in the living room of the home and several explosions were heard by neighbors. They say other pieces of evidence proved the fire was arson, as did the burn pattern inside the home. Further investigation revealed a device was thrown through the front window, which landed on the couch and immediately sent thick black smoke and flames throughout the large ranch-style home.
