"Well, I gave you a general idea as to what he was probably like"

I know. I…. I….. I don’t know what to say, Sir. I am so honoured that you have told me what Zodiac would have been like…. This is emotional…. I think I’m going to cry.

On the other hand, maybe I won’t. I think I can be trusted to come to my own conclusions as to what Zodiac may or may not have been like, not that that is very important, or as you said earlier, ‘A minor point’.
And you have hit the proverbial nail upon the proverbial head with the latter questions regarding Z. I spend countless nights unable to sleep, lying there staring into space asking myself the same question in my head over and over: "What does Zodiac think about abortion?" I mean, if your looking for someone likely to have a moralistic concern for the well being and preservation of life, then Zodiac is your man! I was going to start visiting every store in the City of San Francisco, armed with my Zodiac wanted composite and show it to every store owner and ask "Take a look at this picture carefully and tell me if you recognise him as someone who frequents this establishment, if you do, then could you tell me… What brand of alcohol did the man purchase? But, unfortunately, I did not have time to conduct the survey because I got distracted by my Obsession with Black hood’s and Zodiac’s ‘Death Machine’.

Everything I just stated above is 100% truthful and accurate, all except the bit’s that are not and I just made up.

Sir,
I realize that responding to others with differing theories, opinions, and perspectives can get hostile quickly.
And I sincerely apologize if I came across as a "know-it-all", in disagreement with your theories, opinions, and perspectives, as it
wasn’t my intent; I had even consulted with two other members as I began commenting here hoping that wasn’t the case.

I have my theory The Z. was simply a cover for himself and not a serial killer who committed LB and SF with letters and ciphers as a marketing
campaign. Once the need for cover subsided, he simply stopped. Even you have a similar theory: http://www.zodiackillersite.com/viewtop … tman#p4160

I am sorry if I misunderstood your question, what I have guessed about what he was like is what I have concluded from his actions – two murders of out a necessity, followed by an effort to cover his tracks, including two murders, subsequent distracting threatening letters and vanishing. I believe creating a criminal psychological profile from a cover solely intended to rile the police and terrorize the public would be inaccurate.

Very best regards

Being new to site I am just reading this stuff that is why my post comes at this late date. I am from S.F. been here all my life but have to admit I never went up that way in those days so am not sure how things looked then. Don’t know either how long these trails or Inspiration point have been there. However I think when Army turned the Presidio over to private foundation is when at least these trails were created. I have walked up there a few times recently and you have to be in decent shape to walk them. Don’t know if suspect who had a lumbering walk could have climbed some of these steep paths in a decent amount of time if ever. Also not sure if point was around then but I think cops would have checked there that night but who knows. Pacific Ave seems like it could work as he could have gotten away quickly and disappeared easily taking Calif ST. or Geary or many other smaller Sts.
