I’ve been on your shit list for many years now. I’m curious to know your recollection of why. Mine is that I supported Butterfield and his views when you and he were fighting each other (well, there isn’t really a time when you two aren’t fighting, 
) And that I supported glurk when you were quick to dismiss him because of the mistake he made in supporting that guy who thought he solved Z340. And I’m sure I’ve made criticisms of you over the years that you probably didn’t take well. Maybe I made some in error, maybe not. I don’t know.
But, I’m actually glad you’re here, and hopeful that mutually constructive dialog can help move this case forward a little bit.

Who initially suspected "gyke" of being zodiac? And for what reason?
A friend of mine thinks that "Jim Dunbar" could have been zodiac, which I think is a little more outlandish than "gyke"… I keep an open mind, for if zodiac was the person we all thought it would be the case would have been solved a long time ago, so zodiac will probably be a person that many of us would have never even thought to suspect…

It’s simple, really. Imagine someone created a cipher site with the sole intention of making you look bad via lies, falsehoods, distortions, you name it, all so the new guy could be the top cipher dog by bringing you down any means necessary. And your users started posting there, hence giving the new site momentum and credibility, and stopped posting at your site. Do you not remember some of those thread titles? Do you not remember the constant personal attacks? It was a hate site that wasn’t even thinly veiled and you contributed to it by posting there.
My problem with Glurk has to do with a personal matter between he and I. I won’t post details here but people can PM me if they’d like.
Bitterfield and I don’t feud. That would imply there is equal blame. There is no blame on my part. I’m just guilty of giving people multiple chances after they screw me over.
Well, if you can be more specific about what I posted about you that you take offense to, that would be helpful. Otherwise you’re just lumping me in with everyone else who ticked you off. People went to MB’s board partly because they didn’t agree with you, and I think you don’t take criticism well. Eventually that just leads to abrasiveness from both sides. We could just continue to be abrasive, or we could try to have a constructive conversation. I’m open to the latter.

You must think very highly of yourself if you think zodiackillerfacts.com’s only purpose was to denigrate you. You are also confusing "people criticizing your ideas and actions" with "creating a hate site." Like I said, you don’t take criticism well, which explains why you’re so willing to dismiss the entire member population of a rival site (instead of addressing anything specific) and why you’re so quick to ban people on your own board when they challenge your ideas and/or actions. I was hopeful that we could have some constructive dialog but if ideas can’t be analyzed and criticized with civility, it’s not much of a conversation.

Did you know that Mike Butterfield came into my chat room one evening and told everyone that I was in the process of being charged with destroying his website via hacking? One of his many desperate attempts to bring me down any way possible. He did that because I deleted two attack threads he started that very morning against Howard Davis.
Howard is the perfect example of how I can get along perfectly well with people with opposing opinions. I treat people the way they treat me, always have.

Wrong. Bitterfield himself admitted it to several of his mods, who eventually came to their senses about him. In his mind I was stopping him from getting a book deal.

Would you agree that honesty is also important in such discussions? Because I have been honest in my statements about everyone I have discussed, including you.
Butterfield paints a completely different picture so all that this leads to is two people with different stories giving different accounts of what happened. It becomes a pointless exercise. I guess I achieved my objective: Learning more about why you put me on your shit list. I’m guilty by association with your enemies so I must be one of them too. Do we have a way forward from here?
