As some of you know, I (and Morf) have had some success in getting previously unreleased possible Zodiac letters and other documents through Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
I am now going to do a FOIA for the FBI file of Gaikowski.
Does anyone have and can they send me send me Gaikowski’s Date of Birth, his Social Security Number, his Social Security death notice and any newspaper obituary?
As soon as I have those I am going to do the FOIA for his FBI file.
I had intended to do this earlier but got caught up in some other projects, work, life, etc. I am going to do it now.
Through the work of Morf I have a deal in place with Tom that he will help with costs if they go over $50. Whatever I get I will give it to Tom, Drew and the person who helps me.

These are the SSN details one can find without signing up anywhere:
GAIKOWSKI, RICHARD J. was born 14 March 1936, received Social Security number 503-38-2838 (indicating South Dakota) and, Death Master File says, died 30 April 2004 134655.
Should be a start, at least.
Apologies if you’ve already checked out this stuff, AK – not sure precisely what "level" of info you need.
The Foreigner sent me an obit, DOB 3/14/36 nd his SSN which was 503-38-2838.

But when I searched for April 30 2004 I only got people who were BORN on that date. The site is a bit messy, though – so it could be the info is there somewhere.
