I happened to be watching BULLITT with Steve McQueen recently.

Anyway one of the main characters in the taxi scenes is Robert Duvall as Weissberg and they are talking about a man called "Ross" who plays an important role in the film. Albert "Johnny Ross" Renick.

I can’t find a YouTube clip. Anyway that film has lots of Ross, taxi, detective and San Francisco content in it.

There are a few taxi driver sequences with Robert Duvall set in San Francisco (most of the film is).

Thought it might make an interesting angle for those interested in Ross Sullivan.
