Sorry I mis-remembered Tom Voigt’s post about the DMV letter and his comments. It has been EIGHT YEARS now rather than two, so all I can say is we’ve all been waiting even longer for his "sources" to tell him whatever it was he was to be told!

Actually it’s been more like 10 years since I have learned of the DMV letter, but obviously math isn’t your friend.

Why you choose to bitch about such a thing is beyond me. Have you no idea what I have brought to the public? Such as, most of the Zodiac letters, police reports, crime scene pics, etc?

Like you are the only one who wants to see the DMV letter.

Bite me.

Lol…you said something other than gyke…Tom doesn’t like you now…

I don’t give a rip who thinks Gyke was the Zodiac. What year do you think this is?

This site needs mods.

Why the need to get the History Channel involved? What is the point? Why do they deserve exclusive rights? Hence, my previous comment.

if Ham has legally obtained something like a letter, or some other artifact, that is now his personal property, he has every right to do with it what he will-sell it whatever. hes the one that’s put in the time. money and effort so that being said he deserves to reap any reward from it. Like hes done with the year books (and the handwriting is the very similar) so his work is legit. He owned those, he could have held those back from here and sold those to History channel, whoever. Ham as far as I can tell, and I have a lot of experience with this sort of thing, is legit. for example-that’s why I asked him how many yearbooks he bought. if it was only one I would have questioned it more-I mean whats the chances? but apparently it was three yearbooks he purchased, still lucky, but apparently hes experienced with this specific type purchase.

now, if its just some kind of public info, IMHO it would actually serve him well to put on this site. he wont necessarily get immediate payback, but he would definitely get the recognition for discovering which could lead to more later payback.
and even if its public info, history channel might still pay him if they cant find it, But in that case Ham would need to get an agreement signed before hand just to cover himself. This is rare though and I doubt theyd do it. they probably get inundated with people trying to sell them info/ stuff etc.

now all this being said, my advice Ham-don’t bring this kind of stuff up unless your going to share it. it actually serves no purpose whatsoever and only pisses people off (rightfully so) and you lose credibility.

Great work with what you’ve done with the handwriting stuff-keep it up.

oh, and post the dam new stuff you’ve found now! ; )

He’s already been accused of forging the yearbook writing in an attempt for financial gain. I didn’t believe it but this announcing a major find, then holding it back doesn’t pass the smell test. Makes me wonder if he is someone here shilling for the History Channel show.

Of course he can do whatever he wants to do.

If he turned the yearbook over to police, why not this new find? Holding out for the History Channel says a lot. I’m sure he’ll come back and say it’s not about money. Sure. He can do what he wants and if he wants money (or "fame") that’s his business. I just think it’s shitty. ;)

Thanks Tahoe
well it certainly hurts his credibility (as I mentioned) that’s for sure.

I also just noticed he joined in Dec 17. when did that history channel show start?

hmmmm.

I made the mistake of assuming he was a long time and trusted member of this site (being new myself here) based on his posts and the responses.

maybe the chances of buying two or three yearbooks and just happen to getting one with a Ross Sullivan message might be a little too "lucky" after all.

To people who are already impeaching Ham with little knowledge of what information he has, what if he really does have some very good information? And you piss him off and send him to go share the information with someone else? Well then we will all miss out, and maybe compromise the investigation. Yes, there have been a lot of bullshitters in the past, but let’s give Ham some more objective audience. Let’s see more. The yearbook is not implausible, and a lot of the letters and writing is very similar. The fact that it is not exactly the same, unlike the Eureka card (which I personally think is bullshit), makes me think that Ham is not trying to scam anybody. He is a hard worker. Why discourage that?

Ham:

I would like to see whatever you have to share about the case. If it does not turn out to blow the case open, then that is o.k. because a lot of people have thought that they found information that would blow the case open, and it turned out to be nothing. If you do have something, regardless of the potential value, then please share here. Although there are a few people questioning your motives, there are also a lot of people who just want to figure out this mystery and really just want to look at the evidence. And they are watching all of this as well, even if not commenting. Most of us are objective and open minded, and there are people who have worked many, many years on this effort. It is a group effort, and without the group working together, there will be no solution. You are part of the group, regardless of when you joined.

Please throw it down. Please let us see what you have.

Yes, it would be nice to see what he has, but if it’s groundbreaking, it should go to law enforcement. Not the History Channel.

Tahoe… I DID go to Law Enforcement I DID. I received a very encouraging email from a detective in Vallejo in repsonse. He’s actually a member of this site. This was in December. I was told Mid-January he would get back to me. He hasnt and that is **totally understandable**; he’s dealing with CURRENT murders. I get it completely! I have sent him a few emails since and haven’t heard back. Not sure why so many here are trying to crucify me. I’ve taken quite a bit of shit from some and have been nothing but polite and apologetic in response.

Can someone please tell David Oranchack that Im going to reach out to him on Facebook tonight and to lookout for a pm? My name is Wade. Im not a fucking asshole; I just need advice. Believe me when i say im ready to get the ball rolling on this!!

You went to the cops, they did not wish to pursue it. Nothing is stopping you from sharing your info here. If it’s good stuff, The History Channel will be interested. Just ask Tahoe.

Because of this crap.

On a different note. I have found something that by all accounts should blow this thing wide open. Im gonna try and have everything finished and ready by this weekend. Im going to send it to Morf first. This is bigger than the photos. Bigger than the yearbook handwriting. Bigger than blonde vs red. I would call it a bombshell. Its quite a lot to digest.

Quite the tease there. Then you pull the rug out from under it.

At this point its kind of up to the History Channel people. If they want exlcusive rights to what i have it will have to wait.

To hell with you dude. Either put up or shut up.

I guess why people start to get irritated is because of stuff like this:

This sounds new if you just sent it to morf…not something from back in December. Then you come back with this:

At this point its kind of up to the History Channel people. If they want exclusive rights to what i have it will have to wait. If not then I guess I’ll spill the beans sooner than later. Believe me; I WANT TO

Most of the information gathered on Ross, aside of Dave Peterson back in the day, came from researchers here. The History Channel got it from people from this site who shared their findings…here. "Exclusive rights" sounds like it is a copyright or something…and selling it off to them. Again, it’s up to you what you do with the stuff you find.

May I ask? Why do you want to give exclusive rights to the History Channel and why is it up to them?

CuriousCat—I was laying out my post, but you beat me to it. This goes to show some of us see the same exact things. ;)

Ham. We have been dealing with this stuff for years so certainly you will understand the frustration.

ok. Allow me some time to get everything ready as it is A LOT of information; you’ll see what I mean. When it’s ready I’ll upload it to a file sharing site for all to download. Speaking of… Can anyone recommend a free site?

Let me guess you have a Zodiac library book that both Betty Harden & Ross autographed ?
