Yes, Ross was said to have killed and skinned sheep. I believe this was information from Catz.
A member with an ancestry account should be able to figure out if Alfred is Noel’s father. She would have been in her early 20’s, and not likely to own her own farm.
What is very frustrating is that Noel is very much alive and well, just not responding.

Morf, you are on the east coast. Maybe this would be a person worth paying a visit.
I cannot figure out if Alfred Jette is Noel’s father but I did figure out that Rene and Margaret Jette were not her parents. Margaret Jette’s maiden name was Markham. Noel’s mother’s maiden name was Fisher.

In that case since there is only two listings for the last name Jette it is highly probable that was Noel Jette’s address
in 1966.
Noel’s mother’s maiden name was Fisher.
Looks like her mother’s name is Muriel Fisher. Their names are listed as wedding guests in this 1958 article.
Looks like Judith is her sister’s name. This 1955 article has a list of dancers that includes "Noel and Judy Jette".
1940 Census record showing "A. Norman Jette" and his wife Muriel F. living with two sons Frederick and A. Norman, and daughter Judith on 2360 Ogden St.:
The record shows that A. Norman Jette was born in Montana, and resided in Butte Montana (next to Deer Lodge) in 1935:
Apparently, Judith was born in Chile.
Article about the younger A. Norman Jette receiving a degree in 1963:
https://www.newspapers.com/clip/9056067 … ounty_sun/
It mentions his mother Muriel E. Jette of 5611 Elm. Ave.
Now I’m not so sure Noel is related to them. Myheritage.com says A. Norman Jette married Muriel Edith Stormer in 1933, at age 30 in Montana.
Seagull, maybe you can help clear this up.
1949: Fishers mark their golden wedding day
https://www.newspapers.com/clip/9056497 … ounty_sun/
"Muriel Jett" is mentioned as a niece of the guest of honor.
The guest list in the article includes: "Mrs. Clara Jette, Mrs. Muriel Jette and children, Judith, Noel and Joel."
I found confirmation that Muriel Edith Jette (née Fisher) and Archelle Norman Jette had a daughter Judith Andrea Jette who was born on June 10, 1939.
Here is the full record, from U.S. Consular Report of Births:

Seems to match the census record I found. It was in 1940 and lists Judith’s age as "10/12" which makes sense (10 months old).
Maybe Alfred H Jette is Noel’s Uncle (or some other relative)
The last name Jette is fairly unusual, seems like a good chance they would be related somehow.
Thanks Seagull.
Muriel apparently retired to San Diego in around 1980.
Shows her listed with son Joel Jette.
Here’s a photo of Muriel (Mrs. A. Norman Jette) from 1930, from the "Society" section of the Montana Standard (published in Butte).
Here’s a death notice in 1950 for A. Norman Jette’s mother Clara M. Jette. It mentions the 2360 Ogden St. address:
And here’s a bio of A. Norman Jette:
Doranchak, I believe that the picture of Mrs. A Norman Jette is Doris Jette, A. Norman’s first wife. He and Doris divorced in Montana in 1932.
Also, the clipping for the research program is for A. Norman and Muriel’s son. There is an article for his receiving his degree from UC Riverside in a Feb. 1961 San Bernardino County Sun Article saying he is the son of Muriel Jette.
Good catches, Seagull – thanks for that!
Thanks Seagull – here’s a linkable version:
