She couldn’t have been abducted at 6:15 pm.
Why not?
As previous mentioned. Couldn’t have happened as 4 people were sitting on a wall in view of her car and did not see this?
Some people take there time recollections as gospel, but what if they were off by a couple of minutes? Or more? Which they probably were.
It wouldn’t have needed to take long for Cheri to get into her disabled car, be trapped, and then coerced to leave.
She couldn’t have been abducted at 6:15 pm.
Why not?
Already explained above.
If Cheri was spotted arriving at the library at 6:00pm, the 4 workmen reported nobody interfering with her vehicle while she was in the library. If Cheri was spotted by the workmen at 6:15 pm as she left the library, the 4 workmen reported no issues she had starting her vehicle. The 4 workmen were also spotted by Siebert at 7:15pm. On none of these occasions did the workmen report anything suspicious to police. If the workmen had spotted Cheri at either 6:00 or 6:15, they reported no misgivings or suspicious activity. If they had spotted her at 7:15pm (which is unlikely) then she couldn’t have been abducted at 6 to 6:15 either.

Cheri’s stated goal was to check out a couple of books, which she did. There would have been zero reason for her to hide in a corner of the library until it closed.
We have a note from her to her dad regarding going to the library. I don’t recall a source for the notion that she only planned to check out a few books and leave? But I’m new to the case, so I could be wrong.
I’m quite sure the workmen didn’t spend that entire time staring in the direction of Cheri’s car.

Where were the workmen in relation to her car? How far away? What was their line of sight to her car?
But we are talking an hour not minutes. Let’s not forget that would have not just been CJB returning to her car, we also have the disabling to account for.
Where exactly were they sitting ? People were arriving at the Library at this time also.
Where were the workmen in relation to her car? How far away? What was their line of sight to her car?
I guess it doesn’t matter, because obviously if the workmen didn’t see anything suspicious, then nothing suspicious could possibly have happened. But yet it did, so how valuable are the workmen again?

Tom, I have not heard your theory of abduction before. It explains why she wasn’t seen in the library. But, I guess my biggest question is why come back to RCC? Abduction to sexually assault someone makes sense. Abduction to torture someone makes sense. Abduction to bring your victim back to where you abducted them and kill them there does not make a lot of sense.

I was getting at that through the Socratic Method.

Maybe he drove her around like a Kathy Johns situation. Or maybe he had to keep her until it was safely time to make his alley fantasy come true. Or he was waiting until it was officially Halloween.
And then brought her back to the exact location she was taken from, only to kill her a few hundred yards from her car ?

Ok if you are using the Socratic method we must be entitled to your option ?

Something suspicious did happen, but the disabling of her vehicle could have happened closer to 10:30 to 10:40 just prior to the screams being reported. The disabling of her vehicle could have occurred in conjunction with her murder – such as during a heated argument at the vehicle – before she was forced down the alleyway. Hence why her vehicle was found in the state it was. The Confession letter has led people to believe her vehicle was disabled while she was absent from her vehicle, which doesn’t necessarily have to be the case. Although that possibility still remains.

Or it could have happened at 6:15 or prior and nobody happened to notice.

Go ahead.
