Anyone know how to make a word a link? Where you just highlight the word in blue so others can click on it and it will take them to another site or link??

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

Yep!
If you start a new post then hover over the URL button, it shows you two lots of syntax, one to go to a site without using a different text label, one with a text label. Although It’s a bit fiddly.
Of course if you used "Quote" on this post, you could just copy and paste my silly example, and start from there. ;)

Thanks smithy. :)

Here is an example of how it would look. I had to distance the first bracket ( [ ) so I could display it. Of course it would be placed next to "url".

Bravo! Perfect.
I wanted to show you it properly with [noparse] – but that doesn’t work; I’m pleased you figured it out. ;)
