On the image you provided there is signs all over the place that it was written and then gone over. That’s not entirely unusual for the Zodiac. What’s unusual is so much in one section. For example, in the dripping pen card i think it was, he wrote thing as "thing" and then went back over the whole word capitalizing the T. Just one instance. Not a whole bunch. The street: no. The Zodiac never wrote out the word street or even used the abreviation that I am aware of. However, assuming you believe the zodiac to be the killer of Bates, there is an instance of the word street being used. Have you compared that blurry image on riverside envelope to this?

That is a very brilliant idea Soze, assuming Z committed the Riverside attack there would be an occurrence of the word street. Attached is the Riverside writing.

Good one. I was thinking about the envelopes and not the letters. Are there more examples?
Cragle,
To me, the street on Riverside envelope and the street on this envelope, look the same. Even the e’s, although the loops are different, are basically the same.

Also he only used “Mission” once. Again look at the E’s
I know your thorough but are you sure about the mission one?
And from the image you can see the 5 in 5th has been gone over. The 5 was apparently too small for him. Is he trying to keep a certain height for all like text (lower case / uppercase)? Looks like that on the envelope you just presented an the 1990 one.

Yeah you are right the 5 was gone over again. Perhaps the original looked too much like an S. Anymore examples
An do you see what Richard posted. Im sitting there mentioning width and height of letters and look at 5th and mission. its 5th en mission. En being in typography for width and height i think. Ha ha. Now thats funny. Really. Never noticed that before.
So whats he saying there. Need that discussion.

During the French Revolution (1789–1799 or 1815), a représentant en mission (English: representative on mission) was an extraordinary envoy of the Legislative Assembly. The term is most often assigned to deputies designated by the National Convention for maintaining law and order in the départements and armies. They had powers to oversee conscription into the army and to monitor both local military command and local compliance with Revolutionary agendas.
