Wow, you’re acting like a baby who isn’t getting his binky fast enough. Perhaps you should demand a refund?
For those of you who are wondering why I even care, which is a great question, it’s because I believe that I have found a location to one of the keys. I know how that sounds. So I went to Tom, the source, to discuss it. Because he has made the claim that those keys belong to “Sam”. Where… how… only he knows. Politely and privately I asked for details and we all know what happened next, nothing.
Tom, you don’t know me. I actually enjoy your funny quips. I do. But you know what I’ve asked for. You know why. You’ve set the stage… I’ll wait to see what you present. With my binky and a bag of popcorn. Seems reasonable.
El Duderino, good luck.
I don’t understand the provincialism that pervades the amateur Zodiac investigation community. There are too many people who don’t want it solved for their own personal reasons. I also think some people in this community can’t admit mistakes. It really hinders the development of the case.
I’ll pull up a seat and have some popcorn.

The Sam story is one that many are interested in. I’m not going to parcel it out piece by piece on a discussion forum where most will miss it. This is entirely my choice and I am going to present the info how I see fit. Also, if you don’t have patience then maybe a cold case might not be for you.

Please elaborate with specifics.
“I’m putting together a presentation on Sam, he’s still an amazing suspect and now that he’s dead I can share more. Including official documents about the DOJ investigation into his being the Zodiac.”
could you elaborate a little bit more The format you plan on presenting this on ? And after you present it will be more open for questions ?sorry Tom if I did not copy your Quote proper first time doing it

I respect Morf and the others here too much to engage you in an unproductive quarrel, Tom. If Sam is Zodiac, or even if he merely has some legitimate connection to Zodiac, then your failure to provide information means that only one person can research those connections: you. I find that the more people who place their eyes on a subject the more information can be uncovered. This will either strengthen suspicion around the subject or it will dispel it.
There are legitimate reasons to withhold the information from the community. First, there are liability concerns regarding defamation. Second, you may wish to protect sources. Third, your research may be so prelimimary that it has not reached a legitimate conclusion. I’m sure there are many more. Your raising of the issue and then failing to provide any justification for not providing details just smacks of sensationalism. It also suggests that you might be trying to reserve credit for yourself (assuming you are very close to cracking the case).
If you have a legitimate reason for talking about Sam but not providing a reason for withholding specifics, you should say why you are doing that. Alternatively, you could’ve not brought up the subject at all if it were that sensitive. By raising it and giving specifics, you invoke the crowd-sourcing investigative strength of our group. Your ideas would be exposed for all of us to comment upon, whether those comments were negative or positive regarding your theory. It would a sort of peer-review.
But you do you. I’ll await your explication of your theory for the time that you think is best. I am honestly saying these in an attempt to help you understand what frustrates some of the amateur researchers on this message board. I know I expose myself to ad hominem responses from you by doing this, but I really, really want this case solved in my lifetime. I’m just trying to offer suggestions that we can all be pulling our wagons in the same direction.

That is absurd. There was a team of us who researched Sam to the point where the DOJ took over our investigation and completed its own.

Yeah that’s me, constantly bringing up the "Sam" topic.

So…you think I need someone to explain to me that it can be frustrating to not get access to Zodiac info? Is this real life???

Maybe stop asking TV for anything. He loves a good quarrel but rarely has much to offer. Yes I said that.
Now for the most important part ….. you think you found a key??? Can you elaborate at all? I really have been reading hoping to find out more!

99% of the Zodiac letters, crime pics and police reports are available to you because of me. If I don’t have much to offer, how would you describe yourself?

If you had been reading as you claim then you’d know he didn’t find a key. Rather, he thinks he found the origin of one of the Eureka keys from the photocopy.

I misspoke. To clarify… I’d love to know more about the origin of the keys.
Because I believe that I found the location of one of those keys.
I can’t help but notice that you haven’t elaborated on your "location" details. Yet you’re raising a stink — and getting others riled up — because I haven’t elaborated on my details.
That there is a pile of hypocrite stuff. Watch yer step.
I am thoroughly looking forward to reading the report/presentation, Tom. Thanks for your work on this!
