How about…"Stay", by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs? And I’m not being cute, either. I’m seventy-four, and the doo-wop of the Sixties is part of my heritage. "Stay" was the Zodiacs’ major hit–and rightfully so: a catchy tune, with all the nostalgic flavor of the D.A. Era. (D.A.=Duck’s Ass, for the benefit of you kiddies. It referred to the ubiquitous male swept-back hair parted vertically in back so it looked like, well, a duck’s ass).
