I’m a huge metal nerd as some of you know. I own a record label and a production company, plus I love to promote bands that I like. I can sit and talk metal all day. This thread is to show support for underground bands that are really good and deserve to be heard. I will post a bunch of cool stuff in this thread, but for now I will just post one album.

This is a band from Brooklyn called Pist-On. I don’t think they are actually around anymore, and as far as I know they only released two albums. The second album was decent, but the first one is amazing! Below is the link to listen to the album. I recommend the songs "Grey Flap" and "I am No One." As far as their sound, think Type O Negative without keyboards and different vocals. Hope you fellow metalheads dig it.

Hate Forest from Ukraine
One of my favorite bands all time. They were short lived, but I own every one of their albums and jam them quite often. They play a somewhat unique style of Black Metal. Two former members of this band later formed two other amazing bands called Blood of Kingu and Drudkh.

Acid Bath. The greatest band of all time! Formed in the New Orleans area in the early 90’s, the band broke up in ’97 after their bassist and his parents were killed by a drunk driver. Acid Bath only released two albums, but they are both amazing! They mix all sorts of styles of metal with a bit of blues. They have a few really good acoustic songs on their albums. Here is one, "The Bones of Baby Dolls."

Singer Dax Riggs has went on to be a successful solo artist with a cult following (he is my favorite musician). After Acid Bath, Dax and Mike Sanchez (Acid Bath guitarist) formed a psychedelic Blues Rock band called Agents of Oblivion. They only released one album, but it is amazing! Acid Bath’s other guitarist, Sammy Duet, went on to form the Black Metal band Goatwhore. The New Orleans scene (NOLA) has some of the most amazing bands on the planet. I recommend checking out all of these bands if you have not heard them before, especially Acid Bath.

The Great Kat. She has been writing some "classical thrash" since the mid-late 80’s, and she shreds on the guitar!!!

Here is an old song she did called "Satan Goes to Church"
