Another important point about psychopaths is that because they’re pathological liars, it makes me wonder how useful all these interviews with caught murderers are. I mean, if they’re just filling profilers with lies, how is it possible to make an accurate theory from what they’re saying. It would have to take a really brilliant shrink to get past all the bull they’re espousing and figure out what’s really going on.

I’m a bit afraid I will become a serial killer because I have a lot in common with them. I’m from the midwest, I’m a bit quiet, and… I like to kill people!!!

Well there’s the answer to the question – "has zodiac ever posted online".

I wasn’t born until ’78, but that’s not the first time my sense if humor has caused people to think that. I was actually just quoting one of my favorite stand-up comedians.

A few minutes ago on a toilet not very far, far away….

I have quite a bit of experience dealing with psychopaths and have some guidelines.

– When dealing with them be brief and/or decisive.
– Don’t show signs of weakness. Suffer in silence if you must.
– Don’t try to be (best) friends, be reasonably shallow with them.
– In general, learn from past experiences with them what works or not.
– Understand that these persons probably can’t do much about their condition and that they do have a place in society.

Psychopaths love me, don’t know why.

Rank #1
A guy from Germany who lived in Austria. He stalked his girl when she quit. Drove with her to a mountain, had a knife with him and thought about stabbing her. She got away, he now went back to Germany. Also talked about killing his parents. Most dangerous, imo he should get into psychiatry. Went back to Germany. What else to say.

Rank #2
A strangled body was found near a place where I play beachvolley often. Lots of people there, one special freak was there frequently. Talked to him about that body, from the next day on he was not seen anymore. That was last year, possible that he is already caught – or is not related anyhow.

Rank #3
A very nice very cute but ice-cold girl. She ‘broke up’ with her boyfriend. They had financed and built a nice house on her fathers property. She said she owes him approximately 100k for the home. Fine to me, so far, if there wasn’t a huge (~2x2ft) spot on her bedroom’s carpet. Asked her what that was and she told that her ex-boyfriend had very strong nose-bleeding once. Must have been 2-3 liters of blood, if not more. Still wondering if someone can have such a strong nose-bleeding without getting into the bathroom, after all. Saying so, she broke up with me, too. In a better way.

Rank #4
A redlight guy. He actually had shot a bouncer and went into prison for a few years. ‘Been there, done that’-style. Free again. I preferred to quit with that friendship.

Rank #5
A guy I didn’t know at all, but a friend of mine. He strangulated his girlfriend when she broke up. Went into prison, too. For nine years only. Free again, too.

Crazy world.

Yaayyy I got 100%

Wait … is that bad?

Nah I got 48 or something and the least psychopathic animal … meow.

You always make me laugh. :D

I advised the class to please inform me if anyone got 100% I’ll steer clear…

The thing about psychopaths is that they can be quite clever not letting one know they actually are a psychopath. I always get a kick out of some of the psychological tests some people are required to take. A TRUE psychopath would probably pass it without a hitch! A sociopath would probably be another story.

On a side note (via the link to the test results), I hope any psychopath chooses to not have pets at all…it’s rarely a good outcome.

They think that psychopath Neal Falls had a dog as a companion throughout most of his killing sprees. They are thinking that the dog hair at crime scenes might help link him to the crimes. Problem
Is the dog has yet to be found through police know it exists. Since the dude seemed to fancy himself a wannabe cop
I think maybe he saw his dog as a sort of k9 or something. What a dork. But yeah – psychopaths and pets :(

My father’s mother was a psychopath. Had to do everything to get away from the woman. Worst part is she was beautiful so it made it even easier for her to manipulate people. Once she lost her looks and began developing dementia her manipulative tact dulled and well… She wasn’t able to have her "mask" on anymore. Eventually they all come out of the shadows.

Yeah, Morf, I would have the same hunch, especially seeing how he reacted to the man on the ground. Talk about your red flags. But I think tahoe was right that a lot of psychopaths are probably very adept at hiding it. They learn to act normal in social situations, even in personal and intimate relationships. It’s kind of amazing how many spouses of serial killers are so stunned to learn their loved ones are evil.

I remember as a kid this older guy a few streets down doing horrific things to a litter of kittens. I shutter to think what he’s doing now.

It’s hard to imagine what it’s like to completely lack empathy, but what’s even more baffling is trying to understand why someone would kill random strangers. I know that the vast majority of psychopaths do not become serial killers, but for the ones that do, I’d love to have some insight as to why. I get being misanthropic. I’m a bit of one myself. But it’s abstract, just a feeling in general that most people are a-holes. I even get killing people who’ve done you wrong. I’m almost certain I would kill too, if someone did something like abuse my child or something like that, but it’s the transference part that I can’t seem to grasp. Maybe it’s good that I don’t get it.

Serial killer Keith Jespersen’s daughter says she has haunting memories of him
Stringing up kittens by the tail on a clothesline and killing them
With a baseball bat. If I would have saw him doing that I probably would have died from heartbreak. Animal lover here til the end.

I bet that guy down the street that killed the cats was a psychopath – if not at the very least lacking more empathy than the norm!

I worked briefly with a guy, who claimed he fought in Afganistan with the Marines. Turned out he was a total bullshit artist. Friend of mine heard from his mother, that it was all a lie. Creepy and despicable.
