Well done on the interview, Bugs. I’m a big Fab Four fan – got all the cds in stereo and mono.
Yep… if not for Roag’s mom Mona Best, the Beatles probably wouldn’t have gone to Hamburg with Pete Best and get the hundreds of hours stage experience to take the world by storm. And there’d be no "blue meanies" for Z to reference!
And the young Neil Aspinall (later Beatles roadie, and head of Apple) fathering Mona’s son Roag at that time, is one of the best kept secrets in Beatledom to only come to light in recent years.
