I just finished a mystery novel and wondered how a PI can meddle in a murder and not be rousted by LE. Seems to me Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot and the rest are guilty of obstruction of justice, or something similar. Further, are we board members guilty of the same offense? Apparently not, since I’ve not heard of any of us being seriously frowned on by LE. Your thoughts, please.
