Possibly an old mining site, where the white patch is some kind of runoff.
The left white rectangular shape is about the size of a vehicle, with vehicle
glass. If so, I suppose it could be a vehicle with a collapsed tent next to it
(unlikely, as it would have to be a pretty large tent).
Other thing it could have been is a vehicle such as a short nosed van;

with opened rear doors – maybe someone was emptying 44 gallon drums of
something like white liquid industrial waste out the rear of it, which would
explain the pool-like appearance of the large white shape.
If a van, it seems to be parked next to a rock outcrop and possibly backed
up to trees/bushes so that the opened rear doors are screened from view.
There are probable hillocks to the west of this site, which may screen the
site from visibility from Mountain Springs Rd to the west.
Looks like a weather balloon to me

Could be. If you were launching or retrieving a balloon however,
would’nt you take care not to reverse your vehicle so your vehicle
was not positioned almost against several trees/bushes?
P.S. good to see you survived, I wondered how you fared, camping out in the
Austrian wilds in your Haflinger survival vehicle, hunting the savage Smaragd
for meat and wine, Rex by your side Inspecting interloping Stockingers for
infection and the MonaLisa Twins at your beck and call for cooking and
serenading duties….
