I just went through the FBI files again and noticed this…
The "slay" communication was a card in an envelope.
Here we see it mentioned again…
But then something strange happens…
The Card gets a new evidence number (for handwriting checking) and most likely was photocopied only on the side of the writing.
Now the card found in the envelope changes into a sheet of paper.
What happened to the front side of the card? Did it have a message or pictures on it?
Think your analysis is correct and important…on one of your copies is written ‘Your item #11’. I’d like to know to which authority this had been sent, as they most likely have it somewhere in their archives as ‘item #11’, under that case?
There has been no request done, yet, has there?

The two original examinations of the S.L.A letter are Feb 3rd 74 913 (Qc 64 and Qc65). The compiled lists were produced later and incorrect, stating Feb 14th 74 – and writing card. They also made a mistake with the Badlands card, stating May 6th on one sheet. The source/original documents are correct, but those lists are wrong.
