Many will recognize the name Mark Hewitt from the quarterly journal he publishes titled "Radians and Inches". He’s probably most known for coming on forums and saying that there is a new issue of his journal but never really engaging in discussion about the Zodiac. He posted under the name of Black Bart.

A couple of months ago he published a book about Charles Manson. It is written from his correspondence with a prisoner who was housed in the cell next to Manson for about a year at Corcoran Prison. Hewitt, himself, has been corresponding with Manson for about ten years. That book has met with mixed reviews in the Manson community.

There was an interview with Hewitt in the Santa Rosa newspaper about his Manson book and at the end of his interview he revealed that he was writing a book on Zodiac. It will be a trilogy. This article has a lot of biographical information on Hewitt.

Thanks Seagull. I vaguely remember Black Bart.

Have you read his Manson book yet?

I recently read a great new book on Manson by Jeff Guinn. Really interesting.
