I know Rader was in the US Air Force from 1966 and 1970 , but the possibility that he may have had time at home and be the Z, should not be ruled out.
there are so many similarities.
So my question. Adding a BTK letter. And highlighted the Z O D I A C letters with red and green.
Can anyone see a trend in word setup ?

I don’t believe for a second that the Otero family was BTK’s first major crime.
BTK would have gloated about being Zodiac for a 2nd hour in the courtroom.

The new BTK book by Katherine Ramsland PhD looks amazing from the sample pages. Years of prison visits and communication with Rader in which he sheds light on his depraved fantasies and actions in gruesome candour. Plus such detail as how he handled sending letters without getting prints or DNA on them.

Rader is almost certainly not Z. But, with the cop-taunting letters and claiming other crimes, the similarity is there.
I’ve long thought that there is food for thought about Z’s likely activities and mindset in the periods between each killing that might be suggested from BTK’s doings; the fantasising, endless trolling, having multiple potential crimes lined up, and even having methods of holding himself back from acting on his sick plans.

BTW was clearly a sexual sadist and Zodiac was anything but. When Rader started writing letters, he whined that he did not know how to get publicity for his crimes. Had he been Z, he would have known how to do that already. Not the same person. Period.

Must be great to be 100% sure 
that he developed his modus, his fantasies? to go from killing in an « non personal» way with gun and knife, to spend more time with their victims like BTK did, more domination, sex etc? That thought is nothing to consider?
Yes the Zodiac killings through to the known BTK killings certainly show a progression which isn’t unfamiliar with serial killers. In fact it is common.
Young BTK doesn’t look much like the Z sketch though and it’s probably not him.
The sketch’s is more Than one.

Rader was over seas durring this time. The idea that Rader could magically fly into California kill people write letters mail them all the while getting back to Japan and not being missed. Anyone who has studied Dennis Rader knows this man wasn’t Zodiac. Besides appearance, never being in California, being over seas and motive and style. Rader would’ve been screaming to the world he was also Zodiac after being caught.
