I thought I used to be especially after EARONS and now I am not prepared. Not that I wouldn’t accept being wrong, as I do that no problem, but prepared in a way I could explain everything away as just a series of multiple coincidences. This is because the work is all public domain and does not include any private domain stuff based on ‘he said she said’. That is the key difference in my research which underpins something different about it all. The he said she said stuff, if it becomes foundational to the presentation, is on shaky grounds, because if something happens about that witness, then that’s a house of cards down, and we have seen it happen with Arthur Leigh Allen. The moment you get Don Cheney is evolving his story to match the evidence, is the moment you pull his input away and are left with a guy who has a mediocre amount of evidence against him and much more alike the pile of suspects out there and maybe even less so!

I think Zodiac was very public domain, stopped getting that attention and turned to crime to generate it again. I think the original publicity is what got him through life.

Anyway, one thing that could happen, which may explain the stuff I am not prepared to explain away as coincidences (because of the sheer scale of multiplicity of coincidences involved) is if the Zodiac, when identified, shared many traits that I have found in my own research. Then yes, that could explain it, but since I can’t know that will happen, I have no preparation for that or control over it. Accepting I can do, preparation for everything, not so much.

Lol. What I mean to say is, they probably got a very useful sample out of the 2016 stamp. They didn’t have to test a bunch of envelopes just to get something. And they didn’t have to try again every 10 years or so.

Right. I think it was probably a full profile. However even full profiles are dependent on how much information is in any system that has close genetic distances to them. It could still land in an area that isn’t very populated with public and government genetic information to do that which could explain the longer time frame involved.
