I am wondering because let’s suppose dna won’t solve the case for whatever reason. The next best thing is fingerprints or handwriting. Handwriting can change but I wonder if anyone has been able to match handwriting of a poi to the zodiac and just has been afraid to come forward.
As I have posted, I was asked by my boyfriend (poi) to write things for him on envelopes and a few other places. I met him in 1970 and we started dating.
Then in 2009, my attention was called to the websites and to my shock, recognized some of these.
I have posted extensively here so anyone interested can read the comments.
I am spending very little time on this these days as there has been nothing new. I only check in quickly to see if there is!
All the unreleased evidence just may hold the answers but it seems that will never happen just as the many detectives supposedly handling these cases seem to be just biding their time until it is announced they are ill or have retired.

I’ve seen numerous suspects who’s handwriting looks like the Zodiac’s, that’s why I don’t bother with handwriting.
I saw Ross Sullivan’s social security card application. After seeing that I thought for sure he was Z, coupled with all the other circumstantial evidence. Now I just saw a show this week that cleared Sullivan by his finger prints. I am starting to think we (the general public) have no suspect.

It was HLN"s VERY SCARY PEOPLE, hosted by Donnie Wahlberg. It was a two hour special and it was on the second hour. HLN has been playing them a couple times month. I have my DVR set to search for "zodiac" and it picked it up this month.

On the Two Hour special, it comes at 1:28…I checked my DVR. You are talking about the Mikado, then Butterfield says a minute later Sullivan’s print did not match the print on the cab.

He also had an alibi but since we don’t KNOW what that was… Back in the 60’s man? You telling me he couldn’t sneak away from somewhere for a minute or two….how many events you been at where everyone is there every second lol Goin out for a smoke and a kill lol
I still think he had help and someone was filming that murder… He was the director and he had many (or at least ONE) ‘star’… His writing looks like z… I think he’s was making a REAL LIFE charlie chan remake… I think Kane helped him at one point (and tried to take over/credir by covering lass up as a Z victim) and that he pissed off Sullivan with his trying to be Z… Need to find a LINK between these two suspects…
Tell you what I have seen: a commercial greeting card with a message that, to my eyes, looked exactly like Z’s printing.
