I think it could aid it, but I think far too many people put far too much faith in it. It’s not an exact science. It’s essentially an educated guess. So, sure, it could help, but to what degree? Not much I’d say.

I think it could aid it, but I think far too many people put far too much faith in it. It’s not an exact science. It’s essentially an educated guess. So, sure, it could help, but to what degree? Not much I’d say.

I agree, and would add that since it is dubious, it can be misleading, and therefore actually hinder a case.

I agree, and would add that since it is dubious, it can be misleading, and therefore actually hinder a case.

Agreed. I think everyone’s fixation on handwriting in this case and Sherwood Morrill in particular has been significantly harmful.
