Hmm. Now you’ve turned ‘little sports car’ into a Chevy Nova to fit the narrative.

As far as ‘quick to judge’ — the poster laid out a scenario for us to review. In doing so I’m seeing red flags, and the alleged incident needs corroboration.

Others’ mileage may vary!

Gah! My mistake. I do not recall writing "little". Let me be clear. She did not call her car "little". I must have included that as a habit of prose. My apologies.

Again, however, Chevy made sports cars including the Corvette. Owning a Chevy and owning a sports car are not mutually exclusive.

ETA: I agree 100% that this needs to be followed up on and possible police documentation found. I just thought it was an interesting and – to me – a credible story.

Interesting, sure.

Credible — not yet.

Unnecessary and even ruthless detective work in here. Better to take a story on face value and see what can be ascertained and utilize said information on the basis of it being merely a interesting story.

LB is the only scene where Zodiacs car can (or could) be assumed via forensic evidence and possible eye witnesses. The victim here mentions a car in the realms of possibilities, that is interesting.

Yes, dyslexia is probably my first undiagnosed language.

Not sure what you mean here.

While I’m sure this woman is credible, it doesn’t really shed much light on the Zodiac story. It’s been half a century since these events happened and I feel sure there are hundreds and maybe even thousands of stories out there.I don’t mean to pour water on anything that might be remotely relevant. I just think those of us that are interested in this case and truly want to figure out who was the Zodiac need to focus on the key players and the facts. I generally rely on Robert Greysmith and Paul Avery as they both became obsessed with finding the truth. Maybe I’m giving the book and movie ZODIAC way too much credibility. After all we know Hollywood can alter the facts for entertainment purposes. I’ve read posts that basically say Greysmith’s account is totally off base. Hey, I’m retired and studying this case is a nice thing to do when it’s too wet or cold to play golf. Also, it’s a nice break from worrying about the corona-virus and politics. My guess is we’ll never know who Zodiac is or was. However, it’s fun for us amateur sleuths to speculate.

These two statements are contradictory.
