Is it possible they have already solved the case. I’ve looked on zodiac killer.com and they said “The zodiac case hasn’t been closed but that doesn’t mean the zodiac case hasn’t been solved.”

Yeah that’s one of the most cryptic utterances on that site that I’ve ever seen. It almost sounds like a proverb or something. Nothing is ever explained. It’s just the same I know something you don’t and I’m not at Liberty to tell you what it is type of statement. There have been a lot of those made lately.
If I had one question about this alleged new DNA I would want to know if it comes from more than one envelope or if it’s just a one-off sample like the 2002 DNA. Because if they can’t prove it’s the same DNA on different envelopes the possibility remains that it is a contaminant, especially since they’re using extraordinarily sensitive techniques now.

I have recently wondered if the "The lab work has turned into more lab work." is possibly eluding to this. TomV is adamant that they have DNA so could it be possible that they are trying obtain a second sample from a different source to ensure that there is no doubt ?
I would say there’s one poster around here who could shed some light on what was meant.
