2020 is supposedly going to have a lot of Earl Van Best stuff going on. I wonder if this has to do with him. Hopefully not, but it’s possible.

A few minutes ago on a toilet not very far, far away….

2020 is supposedly going to have a lot of Earl Van Best stuff going on. I wonder if this has to do with him. Hopefully not, but it’s possible.

The guardian comments on Stewart’s book (‘the most dangerous animal of all’) regarding Earl van Best:

"construct a chilling psychological profile of Stewart’s father: as a boy with disturbing fixations, a frustrated intellectual with pretensions to high culture, and an inappropriate suitor and then jilted lover unable to process his rage"

The businessinsider goes into some details:

a) "reportedly abused and abandoned Stewart as a child and enjoyed hurting animals"
>>> So did ALA. No indication at all which animals van Best had ‘enjoyed to hurt’, however. Wonder how Stewart wants to know that, if van Best wasn’t there when he grew up. My grandmother killed chicken in WWII, too, it hurt them very much (hacked their heads off).

b) "Stewart says (RH) are the initials of two of Best’s aliases, Richard Lee and Harry Lee"
>>> My grandmother had aliases: Rosamund Koch and Hildegard Chef. Thus, she also had been the author of the Riverside desktop poem / Zodiac.

c) "Judy, one of Best’s wives (..) resembles the female Zodiac victims."
>>> My grandmother did resemble those victims, too.

d) "San Francisco Chronicle reporter who wrote about their union and Best’s subsequent imprisonment ("Ice Cream Romance") is the same reporter who was targeted by Zodiac letters."
>>> It was my grandmother, not Paul Avery who wrote the ‘Ice cream romance’ articles at the Chronicle. She even bought an ice cream there.

e) "Best reportedly made frequent trips to Mexico"
>>> My grandmother always wanted to go to Mexico, too. I also want to go there one day. Like 41.4m other tourists do – every year.

f) "A cab driver allegedly killed by the Zodiac killer died near the apartment where Best was living at the time."
>>> Only 5 miles away from Washington/Cherry, I guess. Which includes whole San Francisco population. My grandmother lived at Washington/Cherry, too, so did she at Lake Herman and Lake Berryessa (sarc).

g) "Around the time the Zodiac killer re-emerged and sent another letter after being silent for three years, Judy got engaged to a police officer."
>>> So the police officer, Judy married, was the Zodiac? Before Judy, my grandmother was in a relation ship with one of his colleagues.

h) "Best’s handwriting from a marriage certificate supposedly closely matches the handwriting of the Zodiac killer."
>>> Indeed, van Best wrote in block letters. So did my grandmother, too.

i) "There also might be similarities in their fingerprints. Best’s fingerprints from police records show a scar on one of his fingers that Stewart says matches a bloody fingerprint supposedly left by the Zodiac killer."
>>> My grandmother accidentially touched Stine’s cab when passing by and her shoe lace got open. Only later she saw there was blood on it.

With Stewart being the ‘fingerprint expert’, there is enough said. No way to deal with these cases less professionally (also wasn’t it a palm print that was found on the cab?) Interesting that only Stewart, however, is able to match those two fingerprints. But nobody else can.

IMO, the whole book is a cheap hoax; it might be an interesting book to read, however. Why? Because it certainly ELIMINATES van Best to be the Zodiac. It actually prooves that there is no connection between Z and van Best, even his own son was not able to put up such a connection.

The book was written to earn money, which most likely worked out. Carried out on the back of Zodiac victims, of course.

Anybody coming up with any solid connection between just one Z case and Earl van Best and I will shut my mouth forever. I then will make Earl van Best become my favorite suspect. Everything else is no more than a story my grandmother would have told me when putting me to bed.

But as long as there is exactly n o t h i n g that ties this guy to any of the Z cases, van Best is and will remain a dead end. By the way: Is there any proof that van Best was Stewarts father, after all? Nope, as far as I know.

An author writing a book, selling it. Still angered about his father having left him; possibly not even having found him in van Best nor elsewhere.
