I thought I would share this with the group because I had never had this information on the Paul Stine cab finger print.

This is from the book "This Is The Zodiac" by Michael Keller and David Van Nuys.

When Zodiac murdered cabdriver Paul Stine in San Francisco in 1969, he left behind two partial fingerprints on the exterior of the victim’s cab. Although Zodiac said he had used airplane cement to mask his fingerprints, he had failed to cover the very tips of his fingers with the material. Following Stine’s murder (and after he had removed a portion of the victim’s shirt to later use as proof of his involvement in the crime), Zodiac leaned against the exterior of the Yellow Cab and left partial fingerprints in Stein’s blood. This was by far the best evidence collected in the criminal investigation. The prints determined to be from the tips of the third and fourth finger of Zodiac’s right hand, and they indicated an attempt had been made to obscure fingerprint patterns with some kind of covering material.

Of course we know now Zodiac did say he used airplane cement on his fingers.

This, in my opinion, is an excellent piece of evidence and I would agree with those close to the investigation who believe they are his prints.
