I am not much of a researcher, if I am not mistaken I thought Berryessa was were the ‘suspect’ said he was from ‘Deer Lodge Montana’ or heading to Deer Lodge.

There has been much talk about it on different posts/threads.

I am not sure where the topics are at the moment.

Deer Lodge has been discussed with Ted K though.

There is so much information with this case I sometimes get the facts confused.

I believe Hartnell could not remember what prison Zodiac said he had escaped from and Deer Lodge was suggested by the detective who interviewed him later at the hospital and Hartnell agreed that might have been what he said. It’s in Hartnell’s hospital bed interview.

EDIT : Took a look at the interview and the name of the prison that was suggested was "Mountain Lodge, or something of that nature". I believe Deer Lodge might have been the actual name and it came into the conversation over the years because there was a prison break there shortly befor the Berryessa attack.

Yeah and he seems to old. Thank you for fishing up that video. Beautiful area.

I am learning more about the Lake Berryessa attack and wonder how he knew the couple was there.
