Sorry I didn’t get anywhere on the old zodiackillerfacts forum but I know there was a lot of talk about it . I did a search on toms site for Eaton paper/ Woolworths didn’t see a lot of talk about it . Tom would know better if I see some I’ll let ya know
Thank you for your help. It would really clear something up knowing.
Hey dude I wound up doing a basic Google search of zodiac killer Woolworth some of the old discussions popped up on there from this site and Toms and they talk about The papers irregular size not square to its self. I don’t know why using the keywords search on this site and on Tom’s nothing popped up . Good luck
I’ll try googling it, but any links to that conversation would be appreciated too.

SO – are the first 3 letters written on this paper the exact same size?
If so… then we have a few options (not a complete list I am sure – but a start)
1. Z purchased the paper that way (if it was something that Woolworths would actually sell in this condition – perhaps in a discount bin)
2. He stole it somehow?
3. He found it in a dumpster outback
4. He worked there (or had business there) and was allowed to have the crooked paper ….which could be a huge clue.
If the letters are not exactly the same size – and Z just had that paper and cut it himself (for what reason I have no idea) then not such a huge clue. I doubt this is the situation …. but playing devils advocate.
My understanding was that it was from different paper manufacture . And it’s supposed to be not your average paper more on the fancier side. Sorry for not having the specifics

I like your train of thought.
And I agree with you, it could be a huge clue.

Where is that quote from? What is its source?

It’s from a post on your website by a user named "timetoresearchz"
There is no indication where he got this information.

Yes your site.
Is it accurate?
That was a post by Howard Davis and I don’t know where he got his info.
The only place I can recall reading Zodiac’s paper was oddly shaped was in the yellow book.
Hey Tom . I know you have the hi resolution scans on your site not sure if it’s of these letters in question and I believe the 340 was also said to be on the same paper that believed to out of square or oddly shaped . Would it be possible to check from your scans how true the paper is to it self ? Thanks .we could probably even do it from our computers at home if it’s of the whole sheet of paper . I’m more of the armchair bet cop type not the armchair detective type. just using the screen border on my phone as a square Which is 90° to itself and bring it up to the Debut of the zodiac letter from Tom site The paper is out of square .
Hi,
Was the SLA letter written on Monarch sized paper? Just checking.

You can definitely see on the hi resolution Debut of the zodiac number 3 on Tom site that the top left runs lower then the top right even the right side looks out of rack do you think that it may have been put through a letter opening machine at the newspaper and accidentally cut like that ? At least the top askew ?
