I was looking at the Tim Holt Redmask issue with Lady Doom. Theres another story later in this comic with a criminal genius character, Anton Lemaire, ‘The Man of 1000 Faces’: Wonder whether any of the unsolved ciphers names turn out to have a connection.

Zodiac claims after the Stine murder that he looks different when he commits his crimes. Richard Gaikowski may well match the perpertrator as Officer Foulkes said he was the closest person from photos shown to resemble him. But that isnt the same as a positive ID. Supposing it is Arthur Leigh Allen, wearing a wig, glasses,etc how similar would he be also? People look so different with hair, even a good wig.

I find the Zodiac sketch pretty generic to the appearance of many men during the 60’s, so it is more a tool for ruling suspects out than ruling them in.

Does anyone know whether Allen was ever known to experiment with wigs? There’s a rather crude sketch of a man seen lurking near the Berryessa attack which actually has an uncanny resemblance to Allen, but with hair.
