If Zodiac is ever caught which I doubt he ever well be. I bet money his name was mention in the past on one of these forums.

I bet the true Zodiac Killer’s name was mentioned on one of these message boards! Everyone one is so into the main suspects and didn’t even look into the other non popular names as suspects. Why I don’t believe he was a unsub and none took the time to look. Most are to busy if Morf or Tom Voigt has it right cause they got media attention. I’m sure his name was mentioned at some point in the past and neither of their guys. Not to mention lot of ass kissers to Tom and Morf cause they have their own boards on Zodiac.

These men have spent much time and dedication to finding out about the zodiac. They must be respected for the tenacity and stoic persistence they have exhibited. Their investigation has of course been very thorough and comprehensive but we must look at other avenues now. No results have produced any discovery of the zodiac’s identity so far. While we wait we must pursue other suspects and new the theories on the killings. It is hard for many older gentlemen to keep open minds because they are so set in their ways. And be thankful you are not burdened with such fame.

I have mentioned marvin martian and foghorn leghorn…so add those 2..i am sure z is in the phone book..so add all those….not really sure why we need a gripe session on morf and the other guy..they are no closer than anybody else….morf at least has a person viable for cjb…the other guy pulled a drugged out hippie for stein….i dont like any of em for z and right now it could be one of 330 million people not including those taking dirt naps…soon as he is caught when will know who was on the right trail..

Quite so as these two men have been doing fine work it makes sense to encourage them to continue to do so for the good of this case.

I’m not sure what you expect from online sleuthing. Online sleuths generally do not solve crimes; they investigate and discuss cases but solve <1% of them. Sure, the perp may be named on a forum, but I think a greater likelihood is that he’s named somewhere in the LE files on the case, probably overlooked. It’s far more likely a person with the genuine lead called LE at the time rather than posting a name on the internet.

I wonder if LE really takes us seriously. Or does it consider us pests to be discouraged, if possible. Imagine, for example, how embarrassing it would be to Riverside PD if, after all these years, a civilian solved the Bates case. I suspect they simply ignore phone calls, emails and letters and hope we’ll give up. Incidentally, is it illegal for LE to share info with civilians–even one as cold as Bates’?

Well most people don’t take LE seriously either. If I found out who Zodiac is I would absolutely not want to share it with law enforcement. What did LE ever do for me or you people. They messed with you is what they did, as is their way. The last person I would give information to is a cop. These people always say, "whats that?" Notice how cops say that all the time. You ask a cop a question on the street. He will always say,"Whats that"? Its one of their little sicknesses they develop doing that job. LE doesn’t deserve to know who Zodiac is. They deserve nothing, nothing at all.

Thank goodness for the Zodiac. Leastwise we would have no case to keep us occupied. Because he has evaded LE discovery for this long it makes sense to let him have a pass on these crimes. It is to long ago for anybody to really care anymore.Whats done is done and now we can enjoy ourselves trying to discover the Zodiac’s identity.

The Zodiac case is a prime example of LE not cooperating with us on our sleuthing threads. Because of this we must belittle LE at every opportunity. They have turned their noses at us let us hope they cut off their noses to spite their faces. These pretenders have not caught Zodiac and they are very jealous that our sleuths here may crack the case. That is why we must take what LE has discovered with a grain of sand. They are failures of the highest degree. Millions of dollars wasted and Zodiac continues to kill to this day.

I think it’s totally possible Zodiac went unnoticed. Look at Joe Deaneglo with all the crimes he committed and was never looked at. I think this guy was able to blend in and not draw suspicion to himself.
