The National Cryptologic Museum has been closed due to the pandemic, so they’ve been doing a series of online educational events.
They invited me to give a lecture about the Zodiac ciphers. Check it out in my latest episode of Let’s Crack Zodiac:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZY1Y5xyKcBw

Topics include Zodiac’s crimes, letters, postcards, ciphers, mysterious symbols, and copycat ciphers.

Wonderful lecture and thank you for mentioning my project. Q&A section has good questions and observations.

There is a cipher at the end.

Excellent work, yet again! I’m sure I’ve said it before, but your content is the best available and by far.

For anyone interested, here’s a transcription of the cipher at the end:

ueiekv cfcz gqjhzca ehd mtnd rqgc qa nrr niehd nuk qd kecaud xnddcz cplrezc dtc mezrk ucnzrv cfczvdtquj qa zcnrrv qudczcadquj qg veh je qude qd kcclrv cuehjt zqwtnzk l gcvuxnu

projectzenith.net solves it fairly consistently with 10 epochs (remember to inject spaces). I love the choice of author and the plaintext on that. Very good taste.

Thanks Jarlve! More people need to know about AZdecrypt, because it is so extremely useful and powerful.
I hope to show more of it in Episode 5 when I go over codebreaking software.

Thanks! Congrats on the solve. Not many people are willing to crack those little easter eggs. :)

Thanks for the new episode! I haven’t had the time to watch it completely yet, but I’ll do that very soon. Your video series is the most accurate and complete source of information on Zodiac ciphers available.
I am already looking forward to the episode "How z340 was finally solved".
