I was reminded of an old post of mine on the "Q Code", in which I noted that among the PRTV letters, is the sequence QSU.
Now I found interesting in this "analysis".
If the zodiac was or was radio operator, or if it means communication with another person, or anything.

I found this very interesting (4 me)

Z Code (like Q Code and X Code) is a set of operating signals used in CW, TTY and RTTY radio communication. There are two sets of Z-codes: one originally developed by Cable & Wireless Ltd. (the Cable & Wireless Service Z-Code) for commercial communications in the early days of wire and radio communications and another independently developed by NATO forces later for military needs and use. The NATO Z Code is still in use today, and is published in the unclassified document ACP-131. There are other sets of codes internally used by Russia’s military and other operating agencies. The old C&W Z Codes are not widely used today.

Hi all
In this "version" of "Z 289", mounted with a print of Doranchak site, the cipher as follows.
Eliminating all the alphabetic symbols (HERVPILTG) of all code,
then the gaps formed by the lack of these symbols, the symbols in the upper gap were filling, as appropriate, the empty spaces, from the top down (not tried and yet mounted from the bottom up). After I set the Glurk program (Zk) by editing the Z340 in the same way (perhaps i have made a mistake, so it’s no use to share until I make sure)

Watching the symbol , in the center of the "new cipher", made these and other rearrangements the "Z289" call "inverted cross" because only reversed the central column (8) and central line (line 8). In Zdecrypto it has appeared to some interesting sentences.

I noticed that the sum of 408 + 289 = 697, which reminded me of the date of dispatch of the letters containing the Z408 (July 31st 1969),Moreover, if we add the symbols, whether what they have in common, or whether that belong to each of the ciphers (408 and 289) have a total of 69 symbols .What would be the most active year of the infamous zodiac.
