Hi all,
I was Reading these posts:
https://www.zodiacciphers.com/zodiac-ne … iablo-code
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/zodiack … t9166.html
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/zodiack … t2288.html

and in view of the fact that the solution space is vast,
i thought it possible that an all numbers-as-words solution existed
and there didnt seem to be a total solution like that.

Reading the post from alanbenjy which suggested the word ‘use’ as a prefix
was very helpful and enabled me to generate about 100 solutions.
that number could be reduced due to distance and direction restrictions imposed by the map.

I have only very roughly mapped a few of them, partly because its possible that the clock face
on the map means to read the Radians off in a clockwise direction ( a horizontal flip ).

Just to be clear i dont claim any of these are the solution, just that they fit and their form is nice.

Here is a sample, they all end in ‘threequarters’ and have the form; [ ‘use’, Radians, delimiter, inches ]

#*---^-------^-----------#-----* Radians Inches Location
usezeroninezero%onethreequarters 0.90 1+3/4
useonezerothree%twothreequarters 1.03 2+3/4 Near Benicia
useonefiveseven%twothreequarters 1.57 2+3/4
usetwozerozero%fourthreequarters 2.00 4+3/4 Near Presidio
usetwoseventwo%fourthreequarters 2.72 4+3/4 Near San Mateo
usethreesixzero%onethreequarters 3.60 1+3/4 Out Pleasanton / Livermore way

Nice idea – thanks for posting about it.
It is a fun exercise to try to find solutions that fit like that.
I tried once and came up with a whole slew of phrases: http://zodiackillerciphers.com/z32-solu … sample.txt
It uses a lot of measurement words (inches, radians, number words, etc) and abbreviations ("in" for inches, "rads" for radians, "mils" for milliradians, etc).
I even made a map widget that lets you pick a location of interest and then it computes the nearest solutions that match. But for some reason it’s broken now.
Maybe I’ll try to fix that some day.
