The correct Z32 solution should be the top thread.

Another day, another bump.
Do keep in mind, I am operating from the belief that something may be buried within this landmark I found by Lake Herman Road.
This is not a natural landmark, it is very clearly designed by a human.
There is no purpose to design a watering hole in this shape and size.
The purpose of this landmark is to mark the spot of the location of a buried object for whoever cracks the Mount Diablo code. That would be me, in this case.
And so, I am here each day.

If you have the belief that the Zodiac made that triangle, then you do not dismiss it, you want it scanned to see what he may have placed within the landmark he built.

Even if you are not totally sure, the purpose of the quick scan is to then know the truth. If something is there then cipher is solved, no matter what anyone thinks. Some will still doubt, but I wouldn’t care about that.

Checking out the intellectual discussions happening now regarding the case.
Still not much chatter about my personally confirmed solution.

That has been another thing, seeing more really bad Z32 proposals pop up elsewhere, and seeing people talking about Arthur Leigh Allen. That is fine but my landmark is the big news. That is why I am here each day.

But it is fine, I do have a plan. Make version 3 the best paper of all time, translate it into multiple languages, send it to experts in other countries, and make Youtube videos.
It is just more work but that is ok. At this point, I am the world expert on the Mount Diablo code.

Technically no paper is needed, all that is necessary to solve Z32 is software.
But due to the significance of the findings and the method, the paper felt like it should be created.

Also just because you have a good codebase that produces a unique solution doesn’t mean you did it right. If your constraints are wrong, your solution will be wrong, even if it looks right.
My constraints are the Zodiac’s external constraints and the ciphers structural constraints, and so they work, if you use Haversine.

To solve Z32 you must use every clue the Zodiac provided including the map scale of 6.4 inches printed on the map he provided. Without that, no triangle. Correct plaintext but wrong projected location. Without the the correct projected location the correct plaintext hasn’t done it’s job.

And so people will think well we can just use CSP’s to solve all ciphers that are short now, but this one is special in that he gave us a significant amount of additional information. That isn’t true for all of the others. Some really are unsolvable, this one nearly was. If he had left any of the clues out, I don’t think it is solvable. He gave just enough.

It will be the problem with others trying to use the methodology elsewhere is they might get certain constraints wrong. If they are wrong everything is wrong. These often become very complex search problems. This one happened to be quite simple for reasons I have already explained (small search space).
But at the end of the day, it is a search problem.
