Hi, guys! I’m here with a new update for Zodiac Crypt.

You can now specify opened letters for a cipher you create. These letters will be visible in the cipher on the CipherBoard.
There are also some other improvements including better optimization and a couple of cosmetic changes.

… And another update, small but important. You can now resize the cipher when solving it.

A kind man pointed out that there were some mistakes in the Zodiac-340 cipher in Zodiac Crypt. And indeed, some symbol were mixed up.

This error happened partly due to my own negligence and partly because I used an image printed in a newspaper (http://zodiackillerciphers.com/wiki/images/0/03/Sfchron340cipher.png), where some symbols are not clear. So when I looked at a high-res image of the cipher (http://zodiackillerciphers.com/wiki/index.php?title=File:340-cipher-hi-resolution.jpg), mistakes became apparent.

Anyway, I apologize for these mistakes. The app is fixed and updated now:

Thanks for the update! I’m glad we have the high-resolution cipher image. It has helped clear up these issues with the symbols.
