I am not really any good at poetry, but someone on the reddit/r/zodiackiller sub said they were writing a school project about the Zodiac and that "the final project is an ABC children’s book about our topic," and asked, "Could any of you suggest a Dr. Seuss style name for a children’s ABC book about the Zodiac Killer?"
Well the mention of Dr Seuss made me think of simple rhyming couplets, and I wrote this stupid poem for them. Hope you like it, it’s just a bit of fun!
He drove to a lovers lane
and shot them like he was insane
his gun went bang, bang, bang
and then on the phone, he sang
Off to one side he stood
Wearing a dark, black hood
He watched them all at play
and killed them at the end of the day
in Cisco a taxi he took
just another name in his book
he cut off the dead guys shirt
knowing he had caused yet more hurt
His letters then they began
Read by many a g-man
Filled with details and codes
And threats to kill kids by the busloads
Anyone else want to try?

I’m sorry, but….. 
That question, and idea itself, is ridiculous. Surely some of the replies were as well. That person would not have lasted long here.

That’s absolutly ridiculous! The Z killer is really not a joke, for those affected, lived close by & the researchers.
Go write a happy child’s poem! The Z was a scary story for all!

It’s a tricky one. This post. Actually it’s not really.
Ahhhhh big sigh. As marienbad has stated this is bourne out of a Reddit post. We’ve had ‘creative’ postings based on the theme before but these are, or were, mentions or links from other sites. Maybe this should be reduced to just that but … ugh. It’s making me feel ‘ick’ having to think about it. Even as a link.

So all the posts in this thread viewtopic.php?f=97&t=166 are serious and respectful of those affected, those who lived close by, and the researchers, right? There are no jokes in there, no people making/having fun or a laugh about this case at all (n.b. I have read through several pages of that stuff, so I already know the answer.)

Yes, The Z Synchronicity Thread, is a place where we post things we run across. Some from the time period, might even have influenced the Z. Its totally different from a poem, which in my opinion isn’t acceptable in any way.
