I thought this was very interesting.Thought I would share it, a couple of things in this article is kind of scary,(here are rubber gloves available that have faux fingerprint ridges on the fingertips. They are made using a special type of printer and ink. These are not something your average criminal has access to or even is aware of. The user can wipe the fingertips across the forehead or any surface rich with skin oils and then leave someone else’s prints or randomly generated prints.
There are also DNA paks that contain DNA laden artifacts that are to be left at a scene to direct scrutiny towards someone other than the user…these are available for different races, sexes etc.)
I am not sure how accurate any of this is, but wanted to share. I would think more criminals would be doing this, if it was really easy,huh?
If true, then that certainly is quite scary – however, in terms of leaving a false DNA trail, I bet that’s damned hard to do without also leaving some of your own DNA as well.
Still ,it highlights how DNA is a very fallible form of evidence.

That’s almost as bad as the woman who rummaged through her ex husbands trash, retrieved his recently used condom (sorry, not the most appealing of images I know) and used the contents to place in herself before beating herself to a pulp and crying "RAPE." Rape test performed, DNA recovered from seaman found inside her, found to be an exact match to her ex who she is trying to stitch up. The guy was just lucky he hired a switched on defence attorney who broke her on the stand into admitting she had done what is outlined above. There are some vindictive and horrible people out there who are out for No.1 only and everyone else can go jump off a bridge for all they care.
