…. the Alfred "Bud" Lord article from the June 1941 from the Official Detective magazine. Not only is there a crosshair symbol depicted on a pictured note, there is the spelling of "clue" as "clew" throughout the article and magazine. The crosshair symbol is just as Zodiac has penned it with the crosshairs extending beyond the circle.
Just to add to the notion that detective magazines likely played a part in Zodiac’s sphere of influence.
