40 years ago a well of major serial killers emerged/ started or were at the peak of their killings in the US , Ted Bundy, BTK , Gacy, Coral E Watts , Paul Knoles.
Were some or all influenced by Z and his saga ?

Interesting article and I’ve already expressed some of my thoughts about Zodiac’s influence on BTK. What’s weird is that Zodiac was pretty much on the back burner in January, 1974 and hadn’t been heard from (that we know of) in almost 3 years when Bundy, Rader and Gacy all were becoming active but then sent the Exorcist letter on 1/29/74. I don’t see Zodiac being a direct influence on Bundy or Gacy except possibly as an example that it was possible to get away with murdering lots of innocent people.
