Setting up a theory of a boy scout connection (no solid reason, but some soft ones: Pat tan, Mag North navigation, hiking & hunting etc.):

Here we go with a list of bad guys and girls thrown out of the boy scout organization:

This one even has a close handwriting (Calif and CaliF, curvy ‘f’, ‘r’, numbers, came from San Diego and others).

page 5 et al

Another guy, named ‘Sullivan’, with a curvy ‘f’ handwriting, 210 lbs, 6’1”-6’2” with ties to Goleta:

John C. Boyd from Arlington Avenue, Riverside (near CJB’s home)

This appears to be the Mount Diablo section of BSA:

David faraday Eagle Scout..
And I recall a body found at the circle cross scout ranch in California .
I’ll dig it out for you Norse .. Ok dug it out ..This is the one..
On April 20, 1972, Ernestine Terello pulled over due to a flat tire on Ventura Freeway in Agoura, California. Her car was later found abandoned but there was no trace of Ernestine. A month later, her full-clothed body was found on the Circle X Boy Scout Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains. She had over $2,000 od jewelry on. Detectives have theorized the person who killed her pulled over to "help" her with her flat tire.
