So, I call BS on this poster’s post. It just does not make any sense to me.
Sounds like this person outta go smack their Momma upside the head. Kidding. But this is the sort of thing that truly bothers me. One WRONG story and it spreads like wildfire for truth.
The only other thing would be her Mom was at Cecelia’s funeral and saw a guest book there. But, even at that time I highly doubt someone signed a guest book "Zodiac" or put the circle-cross symbol in the book. Pretty sure LE was at that funeral. And, I’m pretty sure this gal’s Mom would have mentioned she was up North.
Superhint:
Cecilia Shepard / Bryan Hartnell was not the only case connected to Pacific Union college:

One of them went to Pacific Union College: Lyndia Christine Kanes. She disappeared from her part-time job at Meadowood Country Club near St. Helena.
Walter Boyd Williams, ‘Woody the Woodcutter’, was convicted for this crime, but there are serious concerns that he actually was responsible for it. It could be one of the worst mistrials in American history.
Let’s assume for a second that good old boy Woody wasn’t responsible for this crime. In that case, the connection of Lyndia Kanes to Pacific Union is outstanding. Another golf court nearby, btw.

Poinnnng…
Some comments on Lyndia Kanes case:
– The place where she originally was from, Portersville, is a neighbor village of Visalia. Some of us might be reminded to the Visalia ransacker.
– Obviously the bag did not belong to Woody either, it belonged to James F Camicia
– A ‘Paul’ (my name is on the bottom lid..) Bash is mentioned as being a witness in her case
– Support from Orinda (dig up the garden) was offered to defend Woody in his case
– Her attacker used nylon rope
– Lyndia was ON HER WAY, possibly from Pacific Union College, to get to work when she disappeared. Lyndia was missing early in the morning, at 10.30am..she therefore probably just left her place to get there – and was already abducted. This implies that her assailant may have followed her from Pacific Union College. According to True Crime police was able to reconstruct the hours before she had left to work (breakfast at home).
– At 10.00 am, 30 minutes before she was supposed to having started work, Lyndia had been scheduled to keep an appointment with an instructor to discuss a ‘school problem’. Later a young male student saw her leaving at 10:10 am towards St. Helena (to get to work).
– Although being denied, the article already mentions a possible connection to Zodiac
– Car door was slightly opened, however the keys were not in the ignition (with the keys later to be found near her body). She therefore may had left her car on her own will, however was not able to return to it (wobbling tire car trick?)
– Her bra was found neatly folded nearby. Also found nearby was her navy blue windbreaker. The sleeves had been turned inside out, as if the wearer had literally run out of the garment as it was grabbed by a pursuer. Her body, however, was found dressed in some gold jumper and her white blouse. One shoe was on her foot, the other put inside a pocket of her jumper. She still had her slip on, however her panties were stuffed inside that pocket, too. Although gasoline was poured over her body, her killer decided to not burn but rather bury her.
– Fingerprints were taken from her car
– Lynda told Margot to having stopped and chatted with the friendly man (Woody the Woodcutter?). Margot mentioned that shortly before her disappearance, Lynda got angry because Woodie had followed her up old Howell Mountain road, where she was found dead later.
I’d be very interested to see some 1969 Pacific Union yearbook.
Another point of interest is that James F Camicia, original owner of the bag, had given it to his father-in-law to use in gathering walnuts. His father-in-law resided in Rutherford, a scant four miles from St. Helena, but had died earlier. The bag was later given to Woody, however he claimed to having given it away to another youth (who also may have had access to his car?).
