After the Harden´s decoded the 408 cypher, a call of the Stanford Research Department to the Vallejo PD informed that the concept of "slaves in the afterlife" probably is a religious concept that originated from the Mindanao Island in the Phillipines.

This may hint that:

1 – Either Z came contact about this concept in book about antrophology or mythology in regards to Asian cultures, or he heard about it when coming into contact with individuals of the Filipino community in California/the West Coast;

2 – Or, considering that Z was probably in his 40´s – in accordance with the most reliable eyewitnesses we have of the killer (the police officers at the day of Paul Stine´s murder) – during the murders, he had the age range that gives the possibility that he could have served in the military as a young adult during WWII and could have been present in the Phillpines, thus coming into contact with the population that had such religious concept.

Taking the 2nd hint into account, and if it´s true:

1 – That that Z lived in the Vallejo or in Benicia, close to the location of his first killings (as some "zodiologists" believe);

2 – That Z might had a military background (granted, we cannot definitely say "true" that, but we cannot also discard that possibility);

3 – That Z wrote the Desktop Poem in the Riverside Library, according to Sherwood Morrill, and…;

4 – That the signature "rh" of the same poem could have been the first letters of his real first and last names.

Could it then be possible that an analysis of the military records for individuals who:

– served in the military during WWII and were present in the Phillpines;

– who were born in the 1920´s;

– who were born and/or lived in Vallejo or Benicia (or even maybe in Riverside) and…;

– whose first name have the letter "r" and last name have the letter "h" – could that lead us to a Person of Interest?

Then again, I´m not from the US, so I have no idea if private citizens are allowed to investigate military archives from that epoch.

Cheers.
