I know Zodiac Dr isn’t in SF, but still, am I the only one to find it a bit weird that there was a street that was plotted AFTER the crime spree named Zodiac Dr? I doubt NYC plotted in Berkowitz Ave in the aftermath of Son of Sam

I’d love to know either who plotted it on the map and/or who approved it, we all know Z loved his maps, wouldn’t this be a crowning glory?!

*EDITED DUE TO MY MISSING A WORD

Not really because the whole neighborhood are streets named after Zodiac signs. I doubt they even thought about it. There’s a street name near me that is Killdee. It’s an alternative for killdeer which is a bird. But it’s still weird if you have Zodiac on your mind, but it has nothing to do with the case.

I agree with Susie. While I understand where you are coming from TruthSeeker, our minds as people interested in the Zodiac case, wander towards thoughts like yours. Another example is in Incline Village–the small town in North Lake Tahoe in which the "Peek through the Pines" card referenced. Almost every Zodiac victim has a street name there; among other street name coincidences.

…they may be dealing with one or more ersatz Zodiacs–other psychotics eager to get into the act, or perhaps even other murderers eager to lay their crimes at the real Zodiac’s doorstep. L.A. Times, 1969

Thanks for the replies, everyone

You are most likely right, I am not an american, so my knowledge of the actual areas and such is thanks to either the internet or maps, and my criminologist brain does enjoy seeing patterns and eliminating them, after all once we eliminate all the conjecture we are left with facts.

That said I would still find it odd if say the cartographer who plotted the road fit the description then also moved onto the drive in question, that would hold a red flag for me

but, as you all say, since this is a case of Zynchron I am most likely just praying for a tangible lead of kind.

Apparently though, my fiancee tells me this is the year of saturn, the sign of justice, and those who have seeked it for so long finding answers. Who knows maybe the man who killed in Saturnalias will be exposed under the same light all these years later… I guess we can only hope.
