We know that Zodiac is widely suspected of being in southern CA for possible crimes down there, 1963 Domingos/Edwards & 1966 Cheri Jo Bates case. I was having a look around for cases down there in which Zodiac MAY BE a suspect. I found one of interest.
In May,1965, a 17 year old girl was walking, when a man described as "20-25,wearing HORN RIMMED GLASSES, and driving a white car", pulled up beside her, jumped out and grabbed her. She fought the man off and escaped as he drove away.
What fits to zodiac possibly?
*Victim was a lone white female, age 17- close to Bates attack
*Horn Rimmed Glasses, like Zodiac
*White car, in the Zodiac case on the night of LHR murders, a white Impala was seen near the scene of the murder, and also in the Graysmith book, there is talk of a mystery man that knew Darlene and drove a white car,sometimes parking in front of her house
This crime happened at the ‘Warwick Dr extension’ near Oxnard/Thousand Oaks area. Not sure where exactly it is, but the girl ran towards the Conejo Village Mall. By my estimates, the area in which the crime happened,was in between Riverside, and Santa Barbara.

Here’s one five years later Cindy Lee Mellin January 20, 1970 disappeared from the Broadway Department store parking lot in Ventura, someone was helping her fix her tire when she disappeared her car was found up on the jack it sounds like suspect flatend her tire.Both these cases are not that far from the Pt Mugu Naval Base. http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/869dfca.html

Wish I could find more on this,no real outcome. Seagull verified that this victim was living here temporarily from out of the country, from France if I remember right, and then she wound up getting married in England,so finding her would be super hard,if I could, I would ask her for details
