An interesting newspaper article from 1991 about a confession letter sent to the family of missing Thomas Roche. The anonymous writer talked about how he feels about killing and also send personal belongings of his victim with his letter about the murder. The body of Thomas was eventually found (one shot in the head). This case is still unsolved…
Thanks for posting. Wish that there were images of this letter

In the proces of trying to get them, Morf.
Morf,
There was a segment about this case in an episode of Unsolved Mysteries.

I know they showed the letter in the show because I found a screenshot (very small) of it on a website… I hope to find this episode in digital form to see the handwriting in full screen.
^hm is that a still of the ransom note? The letters seem very exact and words are spaced apart pretty well. Kind of like some Z characteristics.
At any rate, thanks for sharing this story. Very interesting.

Yes, that was the one, Morf. The other belongings the killer sent along the letter to the family (driving license and his earring).
