Any chance this one may have been related to Z? The article says it was a sex crazed killing, but other than the body being found nude I am not really sure why they say that and can’t find anything else on this one.
It happened on July 15th, 1969 in Los Angeles near Gardena and paper reported it on the 16th. She went by 2 names apparently….Dorothy Sloane and Eleanore Perry
Oh…forgot to say, I also found the description of it being a thin bladed knife very similar to the description in Z’s other killings, though a thin bladed knife could be anything….not really sure I’ve ever seen a thick bladed knife…lol

Not sure why this would be related to The Zodiac. The crime was committed in LA, July 1969, when Zodiac was in all likelihood in the Bay area. Doubt he drove down to LA to commit what looks very much like a sex-related killing (breasts and "torso") while prepping for his letters…not really his style, even with LB considered. The story even claims police were pursuing a good suspect…
And "thin-bladed" may refer to blade width from edge to edge, not from side to side. Should have probably read "narrow-bladed" instead.

Few months before, Marina Elizabeth Habe – met Tex Watson and died (stabbed).
