The first 2 cases are less Zodiac-like to me.
The Graham & Mellin cases are more like the Cheri Jo Bates or Kathleen Johns cases,which may or may no actually be Zodiac. There are threads about Mellin & Graham elsewhere on this site. There is a good suspect in the Mellin case. Police presume that she was killed and discarded in ditches that were dug for pipes,and then she was buried. The main suspect in her case had a job burying pipes at the time. This Suspect’s Daughter actually lives pretty close to me.

While researching Missing Persons cases I came across a few which could be Zodiac-related. Have a look and tell me what you think:

ad1 guy with blond hair and mustache seen, rather not..Z killed mostly at night, too
ad2 possible..she was afraid (stalking?), Stine happened 8 days later
ad3 Z high season, however Manson members lived directly behind Grahams home, car and some other details match Bruce Davis (would bet on that one..)
ad4 wobbling tire trick, punctured wheel..if Z was with Manson, #3&4 could have been his..however I doubt it. Davis and Tex Watson both not so cool, wonder if there had been more guys like them.

If, a BIG IF, Z had a connection to New York State, I found a victim, murdered in an odd manner.

The victim’s name was Richard Alderson, around Fishkill, New York. What interested me is the sketch of the possible perpatrator. He resembles Zodiac pix and description, EXPECT that he was slim. (no problem either gaining or losing weight).

Mr. Alderson’s murder has not been solved.

I don’t have the computer abilities to show the suspect’s pix here. However, the site had this to say:

"…At around 6pm on February 5, 1997, he was driving home along Interstate 84 in Fishkill, New York, when he was involved in a minor collision with another vehicle. The cars pulled over to the side of the road at approximately 1/5 mile from Exit 12. The two men got out of their cars and the driver of the other vehicle began yelling at Richard. After the brief argument, the man pulled out a gun and shot Richard, then drove away, heading eastbound…."

The victim called the police and promptly died.

Does anyone have any suspicions about this area of NY, as having anything to do with Zodiac’s presence?
